Elly's Travel Tips
The Davis Library is very close to the intersection of Old Georgetown Road (Take its North Exit off the Beltway), and Democracy Blvd, (Take its East exit off Rt 270). To the side and back, the library is enclosed by Bells Mill Rd.

The library is easy to find and easy to miss, but you won't miss by much.
Davis Library is set back from the street with a large lawn and it not very tall (one-story). There is a large sign out on the lawn.  I still drove by it and had to circle back when I missed it coming from 270 on Democracy. Staying calm, I just made a right on Old Georgetown and then turned around, made a left back onto Democracy, passing the library again since Democracy is a divided highway, I U-Turned at Bells Mills, then aha, I made the right turn into the parking lot. The library tells you to make a left onto Bells Mills, presumably to find the back entrance.

If you have problems en route...
Since you know I've done the circling, you don't have to think its just you who does these things. Stay as calm as you can, remembering you are going to a talk about stress reduction...

If you get confused, ask someone for help: "I am looking for Davis Library near Old Georgetown Rd and Democracy Blvd at Bells Mill Rd." Its a popular and old library so many people will be able to direct you. Also, you can call the library and ask for help, 240-777-0922.

One More Restaurant Option

Having my hands full after the meeting with packing the handouts, stacking chairs (any help appreciated), and getting the speaker to where he needs to go after the meeting, putting up flyers for May 12, and stopping by the cheesecake factory to get a birthday cake, I won't be facilitating dinner. If you wish to go out to eat after the meeting, stand near the door and occasionally speak loudly: "Anyone wishing to go to dinner to discuss CFS or FM (or whatever)?" and see who comes up to you. Good luck. -elly
